Located by the banks of the S\u00e3o Francisco River, in the heart of Pernambuco’s backlands, CEP occupies a five-acre perimeter within a private area of 147 acres. Studies, infrastructure deeds, and the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and software were conducted to ensure the safe supply of energy as agreed with the Federal Government.<\/p>

The plant consists of eight engines capable of reaching 128 MW\/h, sufficient to supply a city of up to 500,000 inhabitants. HIDROEL\u00c9TRICA AREIA BRANCA<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Located in Caratinga (MG), this hydroelectric plant was built on the Manha\u00e7u River and is composed of two vertical KAPPLAN turbines. With a generation capacity of 19.80 MW\/h and a guaranteed output of 10.40 MW\/h, its production is fully contracted with Centrais El\u00e9tricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobr\u00e1s) until 2030, through the Incentive Program for Alternative Sources of Electric Energy (PROINFA).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Located in Parna\u00edba (PI), this wind farm consists of 20 WOBBEN ENERCO E-44 wind turbines, totaling 18 MW\/h installed capacity, with authorization valid until 2032. The CEP (Companhia Energ\u00e9tica de Petrolina) has a power generation capacity of 191 MW\/h through a thermal unit located in the state of Pernambuco (PE), a PCH (small hydroelectric plant) in the state of Minas Gerais (MG), and two wind plants located in the states of Cear\u00e1 (CE) and Piau\u00ed (PI).
